Our Roots
The Phoenix, Arizona, Alumnae Club was chartered in 1926, and while few historical records remain beyond newspaper articles, photographs and yearbooks, the club's enduring legacy is reflected in the experiences of its members and the traditions that continue today. Throughout its history, the club has welcomed alumnae from a wide variety of chapters, generations and backgrounds, creating a vibrant and inclusive sisterhood where new graduates and Golden Arrows connect, serve and lead together. An important chapter in the club's history includes the Camelback Club, which existed from 1964 to 1985 as a group primarily serving younger alumnae. In 1985, the Camelback Club merged with the Phoenix, Arizona, Alumnae Club, strengthening the organization and creating the thriving club that continues to serve alumnae today.
