gwen-IMG_1411.jpgHow has your involvement with Pi Beta Phi influenced or shaped your approach to leadership?
Pi Beta Phi has reinforced my belief that the leadership opportunities given to us throughout our collegiate years transfer into real-world leadership skills. Observing my sisters and classmates demonstrated women were more than capable and inspiring.

In what ways do you believe your experiences as a Pi Phi have uniquely prepared you for your professional role?
Pi Phi uniquely prepared me for a professional career by letting me observe the myriad of talents of each member and how those talents contributed to the fabric of the chapter.

Who (or what) motivates and inspires you to continue your efforts in your career?
My motivation comes from practicing kindness daily and its ripple effect - which inspires me to continue to serve. Working with the Texas Gamma Chapter allows me to see the maturity and creativity of the young women who will be our future leaders.

What is something you wish you would have known sooner in life?
You are enough; let nothing deter you from your goals and dreams.

How do you measure personal success?
Personal success is measured by the lives you touch, improve or inspire.
