The Literacy Fund at Pi Beta Phi Foundation plays a critical role in the success of Read > Lead > Achieve by impacting children’s lives and putting books into their hands.
Grants from The Literacy Fund support Champions are Readers®, Arrow in the Arctic, Fraternity Day of Service, Pi Phi’s First Book® partnership as well as local reading initiatives and advocacy programs.
To further support Read > Lead > Achieve and Pi Phi’s effort to impact one million lives by 2017, the Foundation has two grant opportunities to help individuals, chapters and alumnae organizations put their literacy dollars back into their local communities. Supporting Read > Lead > Achieve through The Literacy Fund
The Literacy Fund at Pi Beta Phi Foundation is how individuals, chapters and alumnae organizations can financially support the work of Read > Lead > Achieve.
Individuals may make donations to The Literacy Fund here and may also designate planned or deferred gifts.
Chapter gifts to The Literacy Fund can be made on the Foundation’s FT1 Chapter Giving Form.
Alumnae organizations’ gifts to The Literacy Fund can be made on the FT2 Alumnae Organization Giving Form. Both forms are available in the Resource Library.
